Everything you need to know about our in-home massage and cupping therapy services.
Before your first session, we'll have a brief consultation to discuss your health history, any areas of concern, and your treatment goals. We'll then set up our professional massage table in a suitable space in your home. The session itself is tailored to your needs, and we'll check in with you throughout to ensure your comfort. Afterwards, we'll provide aftercare advice to help you get the most from your treatment.
All you need is a clear space of approximately 2m x 3m — a living room, bedroom, or any quiet area works well. We bring everything else: massage table, fresh linens, oils, and cupping equipment. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and staying hydrated before and after your session. It's also helpful to avoid heavy meals right before your appointment.
Cupping therapy should not be painful — most clients describe the sensation as a firm, pulling feeling that is quite relaxing. Cupping can leave circular marks on the skin that range from light pink to dark red, depending on the level of stagnation in the tissue. These marks are not bruises and typically fade within 3–10 days. We'll discuss this with you before treatment so you know what to expect.
Certain conditions may require medical clearance before treatment, including: pregnancy, recent surgery, blood clotting disorders, severe skin conditions, active infections or fever, and certain cardiovascular conditions. During our initial consultation, we'll discuss your health history to ensure treatment is safe and appropriate for you. When in doubt, we recommend consulting your GP first.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may incur a cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full session fee. We appreciate your understanding, as this allows us to offer the spot to other clients.
We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments. Payment is due at the time of your appointment. If you have any questions about payment, please don't hesitate to ask when booking.
This depends on your individual health fund and level of cover. We recommend checking with your health insurance provider to confirm whether remedial massage or cupping therapy is covered under your plan. We can provide a receipt for your records to submit a claim.
